Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Breakfast Chef to join our culinary team at a 4-star hotel. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality breakfast offerings that meet the hotel’s standards of excellence, consistency, and guest satisfaction. This role requires strong culinary skills, efficiency during peak service times, and a commitment to presentation and food safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, cook, and present breakfast dishes according to hotel recipes and quality standards
  • Execute à la carte, buffet, and room service breakfast menus
  • Ensure breakfast stations are fully prepared, attractively presented, and replenished throughout service
  • Maintain consistency, portion control, and high presentation standards
  • Monitor food quality, freshness, and temperature at all times
  • Adhere strictly to hotel hygiene, food safety, and HACCP standards
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and workstations
  • Assist with inventory control, stock rotation, and ordering of breakfast supplies
  • Minimize food waste and support cost-control initiatives
  • Work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure seamless guest service
  • Handle guest requests and special dietary requirements professionally

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Breakfast Chef or Chef de Partie (Breakfast) in a hotel or high-volume kitchen
  • Strong knowledge of international breakfast cuisine and buffet service
  • Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and public holidays
  • Good understanding of food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards
  • Culinary qualification or professional training preferred
  • Physically fit and able to work standing for long periods
