Throughout our hotel, we have extensive F&B facilities, with 9 meeting & function rooms, from a boardroom of 4 to a sit-down meal for 180 guests. Our beautiful Garden restaurant at full capacity can sit 230 guests. We also offer smaller more intimate private dining options for our customers.

The Bromley Court Hotel is looking for an experienced hotel Food and Beverage Supervisor who will work alongside the Food & Beverage Operations Manager and Restaurant & Bars Manager in delivering outstanding customer service in a large volume hotel.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Support:

  • Supervise daily operations across Restaurant, Bar and/or C&E.
  • Lead shifts, delegating tasks appropriately and ensuring staff are briefed.
  • Support training, coaching, and development of F&B team members.
  • Promote Bromley Court Hotel’s service values and guest‑focused culture.
  • Support the wider hotel by performing duty management shifts

Guest Experience:

  • Ensure all guests receive warm, professional and attentive service.
  • Handle guest queries and complaints professionally.
  • Maintain strong product knowledge of menus, allergens and wine lists.

Operational Excellence:

  • Oversee set-up, running and close-down of service areas.
  • Conduct daily checks to ensure brand standards are upheld.
  • Assist with stock control, cash handling and reporting.

Compliance & Standards:

  • Ensure compliance with food safety, health & safety and licensing.
  • Ensure team follow SOPs and documentation is completed accurately.

 

Person Specification

Essential Experience:

  • Previous supervisory experience in hospitality.
  • Ability to lead shifts and support a team.
  • Experience in handling guest feedback professionally.

Desirable Experience:

  • Experience in hotels or multi‑outlet venues.
  • Knowledge of EPOS systems particularly Newbridge
  • Knowledge of restaurant booking systems such as ResDiary
  • Personal License holder

Skills & Abilities:

  • Strong communication skills.
  • Calm and professional under pressure.
  • Excellent attention to detail.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £28,000.00 per year

  • Restaurant, Events and Bar Supervising: 3 years (preferred)

 

Licence/Certification:

  • Food Hygiene Certificate (preferred)
  • Allergens Training (preferred)
